Certified Christian Counselor - CCT: A layperson working in a counseling or mental health field Licensed Christian Counselor - CCT: A layperson working in a counseling or mental health field meeting certain requirements Certified Clinical Temperament Therapist - CCTT: A person who is in the process of Temperament Training Licensed Clinical Temperament Therapist - LCTT: A person who has completed the Temperament Training, internship and supervision Certified Pastoral Counselor - CPC: A Minister who practices in the area of counseling Licensed Pastoral Counselor - LPC: A Minister who holds a Bachelor’s degree and has completed an internship under recognized supervision in Pastoral Counseling Certified Clinical Christian Therapist - CCCT: A person working towards a Master’s degree in mental health from an accredited college or university Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist - LCCT: A person who holds a Master’s degree in mental health and has completed practicum, internship and supervision Certified Christian Social Worker - CCSW: A person working toward and MSW degree from an accredited college or university Licensed Clinical Christian Social Worker - LCCSW: A person who hold an MSW degree from an accredited college or university Certified Christian Marriage and Family Therapist - CCMFT: A person working toward a Master’s degree in mental health under the supervision of a FACCT approved supervisor Licensed Christian Marriage and Family Therapist - LCMFT: A person who holds a Master’s degree and has completed practicum, internship and supervision Licensed Clinical Christian Psychologist - LCCP or CPY for PhDs or ED’s: A person who holds a PhD in Psychology or related discipline having completed internship and supervision Board Certified Supervisor - BCS: A FACCT member who holds an active FACCT license Board Certified Instructor - BCI: A FACCT member qualified to teach in specified areas who holds an active FACCT license |

Please note: Membership in FACCT is required before certification or licensure can be processed. Other memberships are available for persons desiring to support our goals. Accountability is necessary if FACCT is to preserve credibility and maintain an organization that is above reproach in the sight of God and men. |

Steps to becoming licensed with FACCT:
1 - Become a member of FACCT - The first step is to apply for membership - see Become a Member and download membership application, complete form, and mail with appropriate fee to Dr. Rodney Paige (address on form).
2 - Requirements for license - Degrees and training appropriate for license desired and 30 credit hours of Bible classes or equivalent are required for all FACCT licenses. Membership in FACCT also is required.
3 - Pre-application - Once you have received your membership certificate, you may submit a pre-application for licensure or certification. This will allow the licensure board to look over your credentials and advise you about licensing with FACCT. See FACCT Licensing and download pre-application form, complete and mail with $35 (non-refundable administrative fee) to Dr. Buddy Morrow (address on form).
4 - Apply for license - After consulting with the licensure board, you will need to submit the complete application for license or certification which you will download from this site. Complete and mail application to Dr. Morrow and the licensure board along with appropriate fee.
